I am a Linux guru and trainer, and I pride myself on enabling people to discover the power and flexibility that open-source systems such as Linux present. I have been using Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, and Red Hat) over the years, and I have not only understood the functionality of the Linux operating system but also the reasons why Linux is a more preferred platform in enterprise computing, development, and server management.
My Linux experience began way back when I was new in the IT field and became inquisitive about operating systems that did not need to be licensed and performed better in performance than some of the popular alternatives. What was started as an experiment soon turned into a proper career. Nowadays, I train people in the same basic and advanced skills that took me this far: shell scripting, system administration, user and permission management, server configuration, networking and performance tuning.
My goal as a trainer is to ensure that Linux is approachable to all users, whether you are a complete beginner installing your first distro, or a professional looking to get a certification such as RHCSA or LFCS. In my opinion, the importance of the teacher is not only to provide technical information, but also to ensure the habits of solving problems and the confidence in working with the command line.
I like to read and write about new technology trends - preferably in the Linux and open-source universe. Containerization using Docker, automation using Ansible, cloud-based Linux systems, or anything in between, I am excited to have a place to share knowledge and meet other enthusiasts about technology, just like me.
I am looking forward to further establishing a great community of Linux beginners and professionals, working on open-source initiatives, and assisting companies to make the best use of their infrastructure by using Linux-powered solutions.
