I’m a digital marketing student currently enrolled in a certification program, and I’ve recently started diving into how online platforms shape user behavior and business growth. I come from a general commerce background, but marketing in the digital space sparked my interest because it blends creativity, psychology, and data—three things I naturally enjoy learning about. I’m focusing mainly on the essentials at the moment, that is, SEO, marketing on social media, email marketing, and Google Ads. All in one week, I do things such as optimize a blog sample for search engines, organize social media postings, and simulate running campaigns to check out bidding options. Working on these activities is allowing me to apply mathematics in real life. I became interested in SEO right away. I’ve started to gather knowledge about how search engines go through my site and how to design content that search bots as well as people find useful. There are still a lot of things missing, but I can clearly see that adjustments in keywords or page speed are already helping our results. We also take part in pretend campaigns in my course. Part of the tasks included outlining how a theoretical platform for online courses would funnel users from consideration towards making a purchase. A lot of time was spent on lead magnets, landing pages, email series, and tracking how well they worked. It gave me a better idea of the way all the channels interact. At the same time, I am learning through practice by creating an Instagram site where I upload info about digital marketing trends. I choose Canva to develop the graphics and upload them to Meta Business Suite for scheduling posts. The fact that 30 people respond to my posts inspires me to keep discovering new approaches and see what works best for them. At the moment, I am working on using Google Analytics and Meta Ads Manager too. What really captures my attention is finding out how remarketing works and how content is designed for every step in the customer journey. When the course ends, I want to start my career as a junior digital marketer within an agency where I can assist several clients and gather helpful advice from experts. I enjoy exploring and writing about new tech trends. I’m thrilled to have this platform to share my insights and connect with others! Even though I’m just starting out, I try to remain consistent with learning and stay curious. Every new tool, dashboard, or update I come across feels like a step forward. With time and practice, I hope to become a digital marketer who understands both data and people. #DigitalMarketingStudent #LearnDigitalMarketing #SEOTraining #SocialMediaMarketing #MarketingJourney #ContentCreation #MarketingTools #GoogleAdsBeginner #MetaMarketing #MarketingLearner #WomenInDigital #TechTrends #MarketingCommunity
