Mirai Sen
I am a data analyst and I adore turning numbers into narratives and unrefined data into actual life decisions. My educational background is in business, and I have some concrete experience in data analytics, and I have spent the previous two years helping companies to make more sensible decisions, data-driven. I did not undertake what you might call a pursuit to join analytics. I started my career as a marketer where I constantly worked with reports, campaign data and customer insights. Over time, I realized that I was spending more time working with spreadsheets, building dashboards, than I was writing content or ads, and I liked it. It was then when I decided I will change my career. I began to reskill with the assistance of online education and got to know how to work with such tools as Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python. I subsequently enrolled in a formal data analytics program which gave me access to real-world data and cases. Throughout the years, I have been engaged in various circles of activity, including finance, e-commerce, and SaaS. My primary roles and responsibilities have been stretched to data cleaning, wrangling, and visualization; predictive model execution, and A/B testing. I did automated executive dashboards, KPI tracking of product teams, and I helped marketing campaigns with segmentation and performance analysis. What I like most about my work as a data analyst is problem solving. Whether it is diagnosing the cause of a decrease in revenue, or it is optimization of customer acquisition funnels, there is always a new problem to be solved. And how does it feel when your analysis is specifically taken in a big business decision? It is more than fulfilling. I have a considerable belief in data storytelling as well. The statistics are staggering, put them into perspective and break them down, and they become empowering. In the future, I would also like to move into a senior analyst or data science position, at which time I will have a better ability to work on strategic projects in addition to still being able to learn about predictive modeling and advanced analytics. The world is now becoming a data-driven world, and I am happy to join the revolution. #DataAnalystLife #AnalyticsProfessional #DataDrivenDecisions #SQLLife #PowerBI #PythonForData #DataStorytelling #FromDataToInsights #DashboardDesign #KPIDriven #BusinessIntelligence #ContinuousLearning #CareerInData #TechWithPurpose
