Kaia Sethi
I am an AI enthusiast who is hugely into mixing data, smart algorithms, and new ideas to create systems that can think, learn, and solve real-world problems. Being in a profession that is redefining the way industries operate is quite amazing, like I said, it feels like a great opportunity and a great responsibility. The infatuation with AI began with me being fascinated by the concept of machines imitating human intelligence, i.e. the voice assistants that finally understand you, the recommendation systems that finally get your taste, or even the self-driving cars. Curiosity led to a proper expedition. I learned Python, refreshed my linear algebra and stats, and slowly grew up to the point of mastering machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. Nowadays, I work with such tools as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Google Cloud AI, AWS SageMaker, and OpenAI APIs. I have trained and deployed models on the most amazing things, such as making predictions on trends, image classification, text sorting, sentiment analysis, and even making chatbots that are nearly human. A large portion of my time is spent in the weeds: cleaning data, fine-tuning features, training models, fine-tuning them, and deploying them to the world. The most excellent? That is why it is so cool to see AI make a difference. Whether that is assisting businesses in predicting demand, enabling more accurate medical diagnosis, or making customer service easier with intelligent chatbots, it is fascinating to think how AI can simplify procedures, customise experiences and help make sense of vast amounts of data. In my job, I collaborate with data engineers and industry professionals to determine what we are constructing, select the appropriate models, and monitor the performance of all things after they go live. Well, getting it right is important, although I am also very enthusiastic about making things fair, transparent, and ethical. I have my biases detector on all the time, I ensure models can be understood, and I consider the full implications of what we develop. AI is an area that does not stay still, and thus I am continuously learning - reading new research papers, attending conferences, interacting with AI communities, and experimenting with the latest and greatest technology such as transformers, GANs, and reinforcement learning. It is a constantly changing playground. Beyond the technical aspect, I enjoy coaching AI enthusiasts and working on open-source. By sharing my knowledge, I not only hone my skills but also contribute to the development of a diverse and responsible AI community. In the future, I am looking forward to learning more about multimodal AI, generative models, and how to make AI governance responsible. It is my great dream to manage projects that can combine revolutionary research with useful and ethical applications of technology, not only smart but also fair and accessible to all people. To me, AI is not about the robot uprising—it is about providing the people with more efficient tools to address the correct issues and make this world a bit smarter, one solution at a time. #AIProfessional #MachineLearningEngineer #DeepLearning #ArtificialIntelligence #NLP #DataToDecisions #NeuralNetworks #EthicalAI #Transformers #ResponsibleAI #AIInProduction #TechForGood #AIInnovation #GenerativeAI #MLModelDevelopment #AICommunity
