When I first started to look into the world of technology, I was amazed by the prospect that computing power, storage, and services can be on-demand, without having to own hardware equipment and operate large data centres. That interest led me into a field that is transforming the way businesses are being run and innovated. I am on a quest to learn and explore the power of the cloud today. It is a road of continuous discovery-- whether creating scalable systems or protecting distributed systems-- and I am thrilled with the amount that there is to know and practice in this area. I spend my days looking at platforms and services provided by AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. It could be spinning up a compute instance, configuring storage, designing a serverless application, or securing a network, but each of those parts is important in providing reliable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions. The more I am learning, the more I enjoy how the discipline integrates a profound knowledge of technology and a problem-solving attitude. Designing a scalable architecture is a special combination of creativity and pragmatics, the correct selection of services, resource optimisation, and the ability to think in advance about what is needed and required, and at the same time to be cautious of security and cost effectiveness. The career has pushed me to develop, not only technically but also in terms of being holistic about the objectives of a business and how technology can be used to enable them. I am building a solid knowledge base in networking, storage, computing, and automation, and I am looking forward to getting to know more about the specialised services, such as container orchestration, microservice architecture, and infrastructure as code. The more I read, the more I understand that the future is for those organisations that will be able to use the power of the cloud. I also want to master the ability to develop and support scalable, resilient, and flexible systems and solutions that may respond promptly to fluctuating needs and assist companies in accelerating innovation. Each day is different, each day is a service to learn, or a fact to take in. It is an endless process of inquisitiveness, flexibility, and troubleshooting - a flawless combination when you are inclined towards relating technology with actual problem solutions. I look forward to earning certifications and expanding my knowledge, as well as being part of creating the future of computing.
