I am a fresh graduate in data analytics who loves to investigate trends, pose questions, and transform data into knowledge. I began my foray into data analytics by wondering how numbers can tell us about real-world behaviour, and today, I am establishing my framework in data tools, statistical methodologies, and problem-solving. Being a fresh graduate in the industry, I have been trying to develop my expertise in Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Python. I like cleaning up sloppy datasets, querying to find nuggets of valuable information, and building dashboards that tell a visual story about trends and outliers. I also explore the best practices in data visualisation and how to make a story with the help of graphs and charts. Being a fresher does not mean that I am not curious about each data set and eager to learn. Whenever I am required to analyse sales trends, customer behaviour, or website performance, I see it as a challenge to develop. I would particularly love to learn how businesses make data-driven decisions and how I can play my part in the process of making decisions that are accurate, relevant, and quick to interpret. My current priority is to develop my understanding of foundational statistics and exploratory data analysis, along with the development of small projects that model real-world issues. I have mastered the usage of such tools as Google Sheets, Power Query, and Jupyter Notebook, and I am slowly proceeding to the more exciting hypothesis testing and predictive analytics. I am looking to major in business analytics in the long term and play my part in data-based decision-making that influences business objectives.
